I had a major project: eliminating my septic system and connecting my home to the town’s water and sewer. I contacted just about every plumbing contractor in the area—from A to Z—and that alone was an experience.

Joe, the owner, stood out immediately. He personally came out, walked the entire job, and took the time to understand every detail. He even contacted the city directly to fully understand the requirements so he could produce an accurate and complete bid. Several other contractors flat-out told me this was something I would have to handle myself.

Joe’s proposal was by far the most detailed and clearly defined the full scope of work. His pricing was very fair, the project stayed on schedule, and it came in on budget. Even more impressive, Joe doesn’t just quote jobs—he is onsite, making sure the work is done to his exacting standards.

I evaluated all the plumbing contractors in the area, and Joe and his crew are easily the best. Many of the others never showed up, never provided a quote, or submitted vague estimates with no real scope defined.

In short, this was a great experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend Elk Grove Plumbing and Sewer without hesitation.

I had a sewer backup and discovered that my sanitary pipe had separated just outside my foundation wall. Armando came out around 5 p.m. on Monday and explained everything clearly, assuring me they could fix it the next morning. True to his word, his team completed the repair within just a couple of hours. Armando and his crew were efficient, friendly, and most importantly excellent communicators throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Elk Grove Village Sewer and Plumbing!

We had a stubborn clog in our kitchen sink. We tried ourselves-no success. Called our regular guy-no success. Then EGV sewer sent James out.
He tried under sink and from basement. No success but he was very determined. He had an idea to bring a different tool with narrower rod and with chain. Note: our house is 90+ years old and has its own unique piping system. When James came back he worked hard again under sink and after awhile he felt it clear. Yes finally success! James didn’t quit -he thought about different ways to tackle the job.

Recently I had no hot water so I called EGV sewer & plumbing who installed my water heater. Within hours their tech, James, came. After figuring the problem he returned the next morning with a new pilot light switch which ended up not being the full solution. But, he came prepared with the “just in case” part which I thought to be highly commendable and problem solved. James was by far the best tech I have EVER had! He also told me from the start that he does not take advantage of the elderly. Who does that anymore??? A big thumbs up to James for being the person he is and to EGV S&P for having James in their employ 👍👍👍👍👍

Moved into a new house and immediately experienced major sewer backup issues. Armando and his team came out and took care of it ln one day and left it looking like new. A few days later one of the toilets backed up and ptsd kicked in so o called. He came out and did a full camera check to show me it was just a toilet issue. Fixed it and was done in 20 minutes .

Added bonus. He never made me feel dumb and as a female home owner, that means the world to me. I would call them anytime. Thank you!!

Quite friendly and responsive. Jed came out as scheduled, i.e. on time and was quite knowledgeable and efficient. New water heater nicely installed and functioning as expected. Added bonus Jed taught me something I never knew - after 40 years on well water - Jed removed the anode rod indicating you never want the magnesium anode with well water - - who knew

After having a previous plumbing company come to solve a major plumbing issue in my house, and charging me exorbitant fees for simple things, the problem still wasn't solved. I called previous company and they basically were not going to come help me solve my issue, so I decided to call Elk Grove Village sewer and plumbing. I can't say enough good things about this company. From the first phone call with Judy, explaining her my problem. She was kind, compassionate, and helpful. She sent Armando out and assured me that he would take good care of me. He showed up on time, he was helpful, knowledgeable, polite, and put my mind at rest that he would solve the problem that I had in my house. Had to come back the next day with the hydro jet. He and his partner Vince were early and got right to work. He explained everything to me in depth, showed me the camera while it was down into the pipe, and really helped put my mind at ease. If you have plumbing issues and you want someone honest, knowledgeable, and helpful to walk into your home, call Village Sewer and Plumbing! You won't be disappointed! Ask for Armando!

Exceptional job! I called in the morning and they had a plumber to me that afternoon. Didn't charge me for a consult/estimate like other guys do.

I was nervous because I had had another plumber out the day before (J. Blanton) who said they couldn't possibly rod my line due to old pipes, and were recommending tearing out sections of pipe under the house and doing a major overhaul for thousands of dollars.

I called EGV Sewer & Plumbing thinking this might be a major job and wanted a second opinion. James rodded my sink no problem! He was done with the job in 10 minutes, no pipe cutting necessary. He even cleared out the second sink AND offered to clean up the floor for me.

James was quick, friendly, fixed my problem adeptly and for a really fair price. I'll absolutely be calling EGV Sewer & Plumbing again next time I need a no-haggle professional.

James was our first point of face to face contact within 2 hours of our call to the office. He was knowledgeable and efficient in diagnosing our plumbing issue. We felt confident proceeding with the project he recommended.
Leo cane with a 2 man crew and arrived at the scheduled time. He explained what they would be doing, the approximate length of time for the job and any potential issues that might arise.
They dug the trench in our front yard, removed the section of pipe that was occluded with tree roots & put in a clean out. The whole job took about 4 hours. The owner, Jim, stopped by to check on the progress of the job & introduced himself. An Elk Grove Village inspector came and made sure everything was compliant with the codes.
We are extremely happy with how quickly everything was done. It was just 3 days from our initial call to the completion of the job!
Everyone was extremely kind & professional! I would give 10 stars if I could!

I had a backed-up sewer line this morning and needed the line cleared out. I explained the issue when I called this morning and asked if they could come out right away. Yes they could within the hour! Sure enough they were there within 1/2 hour, even with the impending snowstorm. Armando and his crew were able to clean out the roots causing the issue and showed me (with camera) where the problem was and that soon the clay pipe would need to be replaced. They did a great job. I will call EGV Sewer again very soon to have the pipe replaced. Thank you for the great work and the great price Armando!

My sewer lined backed-up this past Sunday 12/8/24. I had a company come out and charge me $1k to rod and camera my line. I was then told I need a 5 foot pipe replacement from my sidewalk to the curb and that it would cost me around $10k to do. I called Village Sewer and Plumbing to get a 2nd opinion and Joe the owner came and used the camera to see what was going on as well as he didn't charge me either. Turns out I didn't have the issue the other company said I did. With Joe's Expert Opinion I will only call Village Sewer and Plumbing for any of my issues going forward. The stress of having to pay $10k for something that didn't even need to be done is ridiculous and Joe eased our minds on this. Local and Great Company, Judy in the office is super sweet and nice as well!!

I had an amazing experience with Elk Grove Village Sewer & Plumbing. I didn't get to talk to everyone on my job, and I didn't get all their names, but they were awesome. They were extremely polite, very clean, very trustworthy, and very friendly. Also, Great job on the new sump pump, too!! The girls in the office were the Best too, so nice, so helpful from start to finish. I would highly recommend using them and it will not be my last time to use them. True all-around great experience. Back home from local shopping; Half-bath floor devastatingly flooded seeping into adjoining room. Colleen said somebody would be out asap. Armando was here within the hour to work intensely at unclogging the hardest part of the sewer, from the clean-out access to half-way in the crawl space having to change to special high pressure power equipment, still being unable to go further. He then called me to observe, via the camera cable, the reason for the overflow: The original age-related deteriorated sewer pipe collapsed from the rush of washing machine-pumped drain water from one end to the muddied, fully clogged collapse at the other.
Now, here comes my maintenance penance for 'what you can't see or hear is no problem.' OML...Integrity lives...Rather than the complete trench-and-tunnel cost I feared, thankfully came relief from an alternate much less costly repair-offer suitable for houses with a crawl space.
Armando explained the procedure, and after confirming with the office, he and Colleen gave us orders to use the front bathroom only- anything else. ...until he and his crew return early in the morning to start repairs; but if the end of day doesn't come until well into the night they'll finish until the only thing left is for them to return when they can to merely clean and organize. The cost was discounted, and the immaculate workmanship was done by a specialized crew.

I'm sorry for the lengthy review but having lived in this house for fifty-two years I have never experienced service from a contractor close to that of Village Sewer & Plumbing. I want to express a deserving gratitude for their excellent performance.

We had a leak below our concrete slab which was extra complicated because of how old plumbing connected to new plumbing with a 2006 home addition. Elk Grove Village Sewer & Plumbing was able to come out quickly and troubleshoot and there was great communication throughout. Armando is extremely knowledgeable and we felt comfortable with his solution to our problem. The entire crew was so hardworking and professional. It was a big job but they were able to get everything done in two days, left our home clean and we felt the price was fair. Hoping not to have any plumbing issues in the future but if we do we will definitely call Elk Grove Village Sewer & Plumbing

Had a drain pipe repaired. Rick H came out and did a great job of using his extensive knowlege and long standing experience to resolve a recurring leak and Colleen was very responsive in dispatching service and following up to make sure the leak was fixed on time, on budget and correctly. I thought the issue in my crawl space was just a crack but it turned out it was a bigger issue. Armando and his crew (about 6 professionals) spent all day working in the crawl space and replaced the pipes perfectly. Since then, the humidity in the crawl space has normalized and it looks like one of the picture perfect examples of a crawl space that I see on a Google search. If you are living anywhere around Elk Grove Village, I am absolutely positive that they are the best professionals for these kinds of jobs, and they are the first ones I will be contacting in the future for any other plumbing services. I am extremely satisfied with my experience from EGV Sewer and Plumbing. Thank you guys so much!

My plumber that I used for the last 15 years retired and I thought I'd never find another one like him...called Elk Grove and I couldn't have been any more satisfied...fair price, super clean, friendly and super professional...Joe is hard working, plesent and takes his job very serious...I highly recommend them and will defenataly use them for all my future plumbing problems...try them I know you won't regret it...
