We've used Elk Grove Sewer and Plumbing for decades, and we continue to stay loyal to them because of their prompt, skilled, meticulous service and great employees. We usually ask for Joe Jedd because he's so good at his job (he's rodded the pipes, replaced toilets, fixed leaky faucets, cleaned drains, fixed a slow toilet, etc!) and Joe has given us great advice over the years. This time we were in more of an emergency situation because of a gas leak, so Luis came today. We knew there was one leak, but Luis checked everything and found and repaired even more leaks. When you call to schedule your service, Judy answers the phone, and she's super friendly and helpful, too. It's a great company all around.

I had a major project: eliminating my septic system and connecting my home to the town’s water and sewer. I contacted just about every plumbing contractor in the area—from A to Z—and that alone was an experience. Joe, the owner, stood out immediately. He personally came out, walked the entire job, and took the time to understand every detail. He even contacted the city directly to fully understand the requirements so he could produce an accurate and complete bid. Several other contractors flat-out told me this was something I would have to handle myself. Joe’s proposal was by far the most detailed and clearly defined the full scope of work. His pricing was very fair, the project stayed on schedule, and it came in on budget. Even more impressive, Joe doesn’t just quote jobs—he is onsite, making sure the work is done to his exacting standards. I evaluated all the plumbing contractors in the area, and Joe and his crew are easily the best. Many of the others never showed up, never provided a quote, or submitted vague estimates with no real scope defined. In short, this was a great experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend Elk Grove Plumbing and Sewer without hesitation.

I had a sewer backup and discovered that my sanitary pipe had separated just outside my foundation wall. Armando came out around 5 p.m. on Monday and explained everything clearly, assuring me they could fix it the next morning. True to his word, his team completed the repair within just a couple of hours. Armando and his crew were efficient, friendly, and most importantly excellent communicators throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Elk Grove Village Sewer and Plumbing!

We had a stubborn clog in our kitchen sink. We tried ourselves-no success. Called our regular guy-no success. Then EGV sewer sent James out. He tried under sink and from basement. No success but he was very determined. He had an idea to bring a different tool with narrower rod and with chain. Note: our house is 90+ years old and has its own unique piping system. When James came back he worked hard again under sink and after awhile he felt it clear. Yes finally success! James didn’t quit -he thought about different ways to tackle the job. Recently I had no hot water so I called EGV sewer & plumbing who installed my water heater. Within hours their tech, James, came. After figuring the problem he returned the next morning with a new pilot light switch which ended up not being the full solution. But, he came prepared with the “just in case” part which I thought to be highly commendable and problem solved. James was by far the best tech I have EVER had! He also told me from the start that he does not take advantage of the elderly. Who does that anymore??? A big thumbs up to James for being the person he is and to EGV S&P for having James in their employ 👍👍👍👍👍

Moved into a new house and immediately experienced major sewer backup issues. Armando and his team came out and took care of it ln one day and left it looking like new. A few days later one of the toilets backed up and ptsd kicked in so o called. He came out and did a full camera check to show me it was just a toilet issue. Fixed it and was done in 20 minutes . Added bonus. He never made me feel dumb and as a female home owner, that means the world to me. I would call them anytime. Thank you!!

Quite friendly and responsive. Jed came out as scheduled, i.e. on time and was quite knowledgeable and efficient. New water heater nicely installed and functioning as expected. Added bonus Jed taught me something I never knew - after 40 years on well water - Jed removed the anode rod indicating you never want the magnesium anode with well water - - who knew

After having a previous plumbing company come to solve a major plumbing issue in my house, and charging me exorbitant fees for simple things, the problem still wasn't solved. I called previous company and they basically were not going to come help me solve my issue, so I decided to call Elk Grove Village sewer and plumbing. I can't say enough good things about this company. From the first phone call with Judy, explaining her my problem. She was kind, compassionate, and helpful. She sent Armando out and assured me that he would take good care of me. He showed up on time, he was helpful, knowledgeable, polite, and put my mind at rest that he would solve the problem that I had in my house. Had to come back the next day with the hydro jet. He and his partner Vince were early and got right to work. He explained everything to me in depth, showed me the camera while it was down into the pipe, and really helped put my mind at ease. If you have plumbing issues and you want someone honest, knowledgeable, and helpful to walk into your home, call Village Sewer and Plumbing! You won't be disappointed! Ask for Armando!

Exceptional job! I called in the morning and they had a plumber to me that afternoon. Didn't charge me for a consult/estimate like other guys do. I was nervous because I had had another plumber out the day before (J. Blanton) who said they couldn't possibly rod my line due to old pipes, and were recommending tearing out sections of pipe under the house and doing a major overhaul for thousands of dollars. I called EGV Sewer & Plumbing thinking this might be a major job and wanted a second opinion. James rodded my sink no problem! He was done with the job in 10 minutes, no pipe cutting necessary. He even cleared out the second sink AND offered to clean up the floor for me. James was quick, friendly, fixed my problem adeptly and for a really fair price. I'll absolutely be calling EGV Sewer & Plumbing again next time I need a no-haggle professional.

James was our first point of face to face contact within 2 hours of our call to the office. He was knowledgeable and efficient in diagnosing our plumbing issue. We felt confident proceeding with the project he recommended. Leo cane with a 2 man crew and arrived at the scheduled time. He explained what they would be doing, the approximate length of time for the job and any potential issues that might arise. They dug the trench in our front yard, removed the section of pipe that was occluded with tree roots & put in a clean out. The whole job took about 4 hours. The owner, Jim, stopped by to check on the progress of the job & introduced himself. An Elk Grove Village inspector came and made sure everything was compliant with the codes. We are extremely happy with how quickly everything was done. It was just 3 days from our initial call to the completion of the job! Everyone was extremely kind & professional! I would give 10 stars if I could! Thank you!

I had a backed-up sewer line this morning and needed the line cleared out. I explained the issue when I called this morning and asked if they could come out right away. Yes they could within the hour! Sure enough they were there within 1/2 hour, even with the impending snowstorm. Armando and his crew were able to clean out the roots causing the issue and showed me (with camera) where the problem was and that soon the clay pipe would need to be replaced. They did a great job. I will call EGV Sewer again very soon to have the pipe replaced. Thank you for the great work and the great price Armando!
